Parsons the New School for Design came to us and asked for help in creating a project that addressed the expanding definition of design. We came back with SoundAffects, a musical experience that took inputs from the street and turned them into musical outputs. We built a hollow wall on 5th Avenue that housed sensors that enabled us to monitor such things as light, temperature, noise, color, cell phone activity and movement.
